Memorie dall'Invisibile

Stampe in camera oscura con la tecnica del chimigramma
Memories from the Invisible explores the theme of remembrance and the perception of faces, gestures, and details that, over time, tend to distort both in memory and on the photographic surface. Through the chemigram process, the image is not simply fixed but traversed by unpredictable chemical reactions, acting as a metaphor for the very workings of memory.
Some forms dissolve, others re-emerge in fragmented or ambiguous ways, while certain elements remain unexpectedly sharp, resisting degradation and oblivion. The work investigates the tension between presence and absence, the visible and the invisible, questioning the unstable boundary between what we remember and what we believe we remember.
